There's a problem in Nigeria.
Help us make a change.
New Wave Nigeria has a mission to solve the problem of reducing poverty, improving living conditions, and spreading awareness of the dire issues in not only Nigeria, but globally.
According to the National Bureau of Statistics, more than 82 million Nigerians are forced to survive on less than $1 a day subjecting 40% of the population below the poverty line.
The situation is getting worse each and every day and the causes are many — civil conflict, food shortages, and a rapid population growth tied with slow economic growth. With your help, we can fight to alleviate these challenges.

Help us #ENDSARS.
Keep Nigeria's most pressing issues at the forefront.
Though Nigeria’s resource-based problems are well-known, they are not the only issues the nation is facing. #ENDSARS has recently gained a lot of traction and has been escalating into the mainstream.
End SARS is a decentralized social movement, and series of mass protests against police brutality in Nigeria. The slogan calls for the disbanding of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), a notorious unit of the Nigerian Police with a long record of abuses.
The protests which takes its name from the slogan started in 2017 as a Twitter campaigning using the hashtag #ENDSARS to demand the disbanding of the unit by the Nigerian government.
In addition to protests, petitions have been set up, and there are various ways to donate to protestors on the ground in Nigeria. We have a responsibility to stand in solidarity and stand in the face of injustice. Though you may be thousands of miles away from Nigeria, there are still practical ways to lend support.
The easiest way to support is to spread the news while educating yourself on the problem and the history. It is not an individual problem, but instead one product of the global struggle faced by black people.
